Three things to think about every day if you want to grow your business

As a busy business owner it’s hard to find time to do everything you want to do in a day.

It’s also fairly easy to get distracted and focus on the wrong things. Time drains. Like admin or creating pretty pictures. Things that won’t drive your business forward as quickly as you might like.

If you want to grow your business, scale and become more profitable, you need to get laser-focused on the right things.

Three things you need to think about every, single day are your audience, your message and your reach. Let’s take each one and break it down.

  1. Your Audience – who are they and what are they looking for? What do they want from you. What problem are you solving for them? Is this changing over time? Have you noticed any trends among your customers? Are they still consuming content, products and services in the same way? Where are they hanging out? Are they still responding to your marketing? If not, it’s time to switch things up.
  2. Your Message – How can you get your message out there so that more of your customers will see it? Maybe your customers aren’t responding to your message in the same way they were. Have a good think about this and work out how to improve things on a daily basis.
  3. Your reach – what are you doing today that will expand your reach? Get you in front of more customers and potential customers. Be brutally honest here, could you be doing more to get your name out there? (Clue: yes, we all could, all of the time).

Focus on doing each of these things consistently every day and watch the difference it makes to your business.
