Simply Connect is on the move
We’re very excited to be moving to our new home, Finn & Bear on The Shore, Leith from Wednesday 2nd May onwards (10am-12pm). One serious bonus of moving to Finn & Bear (apart from the awesome team, laid back, lovely surroundings and delicious teas & coffees) is that they will be laying on freshly made scones, croissants and mini-pastries for us for just £1 along with any hot drink.
The first event at Finn & Bear will be delivered by GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) expert Alison Stone who will bring this topic to life and answer all of your questions. If you don’t know what GDPR is yet, it’s coming very soon (25th May 2018) and you need to be aware of the implications for your business.
At our June event, Pinky Ghadiali will be helping us with all things mindset. Mindset is so, so important when running your own business and dealing with the many scenarios that are regularly thrown in our path.
There will be no event in July but we will be back with a bang for the second half of 2018!
I’m really excited to publish the schedule for late 2018, we have a fantastic list of speakers, it’s both heartening and exciting to see so many women in Edinburgh forging ahead in business.

Since hosting the first Simply Connect in September 2017, I’m delighted with how the event has grown and evolved and I really enjoy running it and seeing so many regulars and new faces each month. Equally, it’s taking up more and more of my time to plan and organise. Many of our recent events have been fully booked with a waiting list and the capacity of our new venue is limited. I’ve therefore decided to introduce a small charge per ticket (£10+booking fee) so do book early to secure your spot at each event. I predict these will sell out fast!

And finally a big thanks to everyone who has attended and/ or is planning to attend Simply Connect soon, it’s become one of the highlights of my month and I hope you’re getting lots out of our events too.
